EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE
NICHOLAS SEE (BSOCSC 2016)
PRESIDENT
What is he doing now?
I'm currently in SPRING Singapore, a statutory board under the Ministry of Trade and Industry, working on HR strategy. This is a challenging yet fulfilling role to enable our employees to support SMEs to the best of their ability.
What does he hope to achieve through SMU Ultimate Alumni Group?
Through this alumni group, I hope to provide a platform for our alumni to continue playing the sport. I believe this will open up other opportunities such as guiding the current SMU team as well as networking opportunities. I envision this group to be fun-driven and hope players will look forward to take the fields with their teammates once again.
JOEL LOW (BSOCSC 2017)
VICE PRESIDENT
What is he doing now?
I’m currently looking to embark on a full-time career in the communications or marketing line. While the search continues, I’m still coaching & teaching the sport of Ultimate Frisbee at various levels.
What does he hope to achieve through SMU Ultimate Alumni Group?
An avenue for friends, seniors and juniors to stay connected. In the long run, develop and increase the touchpoints for experienced players to join the current students for training camps, clinics and probably overseas tournaments.
MICHAEL KRYGSMAN (BBM 2016)
TREASURER
What is he doing now?
I'm currently pursuing a career in Human Resources, working in the public sector.
What does he hope to achieve through SMU Ultimate Alumni Group?
My individual goal of setting up this alumni group is to continue to stay in touch with my fellow teammates as well as to continue being a part of SMU, since my education journey in this school played a big role in shaping my character today. Ultimately, forming this group will benefit both alumni and current students through the connections and network that we build.
JOLEEN WONG (LLB 2017)
H.G. SECRETARY
What is she doing now?
Fresh out of law school, the next step for me would include completing the Singapore Bar Examinations and a practice training period at a law firm specializing in community law.
What does she hope to achieve through SMU Ultimate Alumni Group?
Being a part of SMU Ultimate Frisbee Club has been one of the highlights of my time at SMU, and I hope that with the establishment of this club the SMUUFC experience doesn’t just have to be a 4-year journey, but one that will continue long after graduation.
EDMUND CHIN (BBM 2016)
EVENTS DIRECTOR
What is he doing now?
I am currently working at Tripartite Alliance for Fair & Progressive Employment Practices and intend to stay at the public sector.
What does he hope to achieve through SMU Ultimate Alumni Group?
I hope that my team and I would be able to connect the alumni members back together again after all these years. It would be good to see everybody get back together and contribute in one way or another to the club.
