Beng Hui is a Senior Partner at Ray Alliance Financial Advisers with 25 years of experience in the wealth management and financial planning industry. Prior to that, he worked at Great Eastern Life, John Hancock Life and AIA. Beng Hui specialises in developing strategic partnerships and driving growth for Ray Alliance in Asia. He also has extensive experience in managing high net worth individuals in Singapore, Indonesia and China.

Beng Hui is also the founder of InsureTech platform, FinAlly.sg, where tools are designed to empower users and broaden their knowledge in financial planning in order to make the most informed decisions.

Michelle Katics, Co-Founder and CEO, PortfolioQuest and BankersLab

Michelle is the Co-Founder and CEO of PortfolioQuest and BankersLab, simulation training workshops and certification platforms for bankers and FinTech lenders. BankersLab created the award winning and patented “flight simulators” for Bankers. BankersLab incubated the launch of its spin-off, PortfolioQuest, the fully digital version. Her early career work included the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago, International Monetary Fund (IMF) and Fair Isaac (FICO). She is a risk manager, mathematician, and economist by training. 

Michelle has been a vocal thought leader in the FinTech revolution, championing talent transformation and upskill. 

Sandy Tsang, Commercial Director, Google Squared Online & Managing Director APAC, AVADO

Sandy Tsang is the Commercial Director of Squared Online, the digital marketing course developed with Google and powered by Avado. After working in digital marketing for over a decade, she’s truly found her calling to help marketers up-skill in the field she’s extremely passionate about.

Prior to Avado, Sandy was in financial services and insurance in digital for 12 years. At American Express Canada, Sandy paved the way for many digital channels and innovations and was instrumental in the launch of the Gold Rewards Card in Canada, having brand and direct response digital advertising oversight. Sandy then took on the UK market at the world’s first peer-to-peer lending company, Zopa, as the Head of Digital Acquisition. In her tenure, she more than doubled the business in terms of money lent on the platform, and spearheaded cross-channel tracking and attribution between TV and direct response channels.

Varun Mittal, ASEAN Fintech Lead, EY & Founding member of Singapore FinTech Association & ASEAN Fintech Network

Varun is the ASEAN Fintech Lead at EY covering emerging technology and business models in financial services across ASEAN. Previously Varun was the first marketing and sales employee at helloPay (acquired by ANT Financial, Alibaba Group), led payments for Samsung in ASEAN and developed regional mobile payment solutions at Singtel Group. Prior to his work in payments, Varun worked at Microsoft and Gemalto. He is also part of the founding team of Singapore Fintech Association & ASEAN Fintech Network, working closely with startups, educational institutions, investors and regulators across ASEAN. Varun holds an MBA from the National University of Singapore.
