Events
Events are a key means of engaging alumni. And we need alumni to help organize these for their fellow alum. Here are some events we could use your help in:
Grad Night is an event jointly organized by the Alumni Relations Office and the SMU Students’ Association (SMUSA) for each cohort’s Graduating Class. This is an opportunity for the graduating class to gather for an evening of fun and joy, before embarking on the next chapter in their lives.
Class Reunions
Reunions are a great time for alumni to reconnect with former classmates and faculty. Be part of your class reunion planning committee and make it a truly memorable event!
SMUAA Movie Nites
A tradition of the association, the bi-annual Movie Nite has become a milestone event that many alumni look forward to as they get together over food, drinks and a great movie.
Social Events
Relax, chill out, listen to good music, and have a great time reliving those SMU moments with your fellow alum. It can’t get more simple, or more satisfying than that.
Networking Sessions
Look around your own backyard for fellow alum you can network with. Opportunities knock in many ways. You never know who you’re going to get that big break from.
