It was a night to remember for this year's graduands. They celebrated their transition from students to alumni in style at their very own Graduation Night party. SMU faculty and management were also present to share their joy.

Held at the Fullerton Hotel the night prior to the Commencement ceremony, this year's theme was ‘Couleurs'. In keeping with the spirit of the occasion, everyone ditched their usual wear of jeans and casuals to turn up in the latest runway fashion. The ladies were charming in their colourful gowns and the gentlemen were distinguished in their suits.

Mr Jimmy Boh (BBM, Graduating Class of 2008) represented the graduating class to address the guests. In his speech, he summed up the essence of the graduands SMU experience: “Tonight, we are here to celebrate. Not only the success of our graduation but also for all of the friendships we made during our SMU journey, before we finally embark on a new chapter in our lives.”

This year's Graduation Night was organised by a committee led by final year student Ben Toh and comprising Year 3 and final year students. It was supported by the Alumni Relations Office and the SMUSA.
