Your SMU Alumni Association (SMUAA) membership entitles you to a variety of privileges.

Li Ka Shing Library Membership Privileges - Loan Privileges

Enjoy the Li Ka Shing Library membership privileges when you sign up as a current SMUAA Gold member. Centrally located on the City Campus, the library offers a range of work spaces – quiet individual carrels, project rooms for group discussions, open spaces for individual or collaborative use and a cafe conveniently located within the building. Bring your laptop to enjoy the convenience of wireless internet access*.   

Silver and non-SMUAA members are also welcomed at the Li Ka Shing Library.

For Silver members, just flash your SMUAA membership card to enter.

Non-SMUAA members are requested to register at the library security desk. 

Sports and Recreational Facilities

Enjoy unlimited use of the City Campus sports facilities* including a 25 metre Swimming Pool and state of the art Gymnasium equipped with the most modern cardiovascular, fitness and weight training equipment. In addition, a Spin Room and a Dance Room have been added to the Gymnasium. >> Facilities

Facilities Booking

Wide selections of SMU City Campus facilities such as conference hall and seminar rooms are also available for bookings by alumni. If you are an SMUAA member, you’ll be pleased to know that you enjoy preferred booking rates. Alumni are advised to enquire and make bookings directly with the SMU Leasing Business Unit. Bookings must be made at least 2 weeks in advance.

Career services support is available for a period of one year upon graduation. The support includes access to OnTrac service and exclusive invitations to new job opportunities offered by SMU’s business partners.

Also, take time to attend business and social networking events organized by SMU and the SMUAA – opportunities that allow you to establish industry contacts, meet fellow Alumni and friends of SMU. Parking at SMU Car Parks: Enjoy preferred parking rates at the SMU City Campus. current SMUAA Gold Members can register for preferred parking rates upon approval of SMUAA membership.
