Membership Application

To apply for an SMUAA membership, please visit this online webform.

Your membership application will be processed once you have done the following:

• made full payment of the membership fees
• emailed a softcopy of your photograph to alumni@smu.edu.sg. The photograph is required to be in JPG format with a clean background. Please ensure that a suitable passport photo is submitted as it will be printed on your SMUAA Membership/Access Card for security and identification purposes.
  

Administration of SMU Lifelong Email

Your SMU email account can be administered at this page. With this service, you can forward emails from your SMU email account to another email address, reset your password, etc.

Alumni Weekly Updates (with Job Alerts!)

The Alumni Relations Office and SMU Alumni Association jointly publish the Alumni Weekly Update every Friday. This is emailed to all alumni's Active Email addresses . The broadcast includes content on job opportunities, event invitations to news and alerts from the University.

Update Your Particulars (including your Active Email )

SMUAA Membership (without Add-Ons, $50)

• Access to SMU City Campus grounds (all turnstiles except Library, Gym and Pool)
• Access to and use of University Lounge at Level 6, Administration Building
• Walk-in Access to Li Ka Shing Library
  For walk-in access to the library, please show your SMUAA membership card to the security counter staff citing your SMU ID (yourname.year@smu.edu.sg). Walk-in access will allow you to read library materials on-site. Course Reserve materials are only available for browsing and not available for photocopying. For full Library privileges, please refer to “SMUAA Membership with Li Ka Shing Library Add-On” below.
• Wi-Fi Access on City Campus
  Login to the campus Wi-Fi network using your SMU ID (yourname.year@smu.edu.sg) when you're around campus. To reset your password, please visit http://www.smu.edu.sg/alumni/services/lifelongemail.asp .
• Discounted rates to alumni events
• UniVantage Discounts
  Show your SMUAA membership card at participating merchants. Special offers on top of the usual discounts are broadcast through the Alumni Weekly Updates which is sent to your Active Email. Your Active Email need not be your SMU email address.

Gym and Pool Add-On ($200)

• All privileges listed under SMUAA Membership
• Access to and use of the University Gym and Pool

You will need to show your SMUAA membership card upon entry.
Access will not be granted without a valid membership card.

Li Ka Shing Library Add-On ($150)

• All privileges listed under SMUAA Membership
• Access to and use of Li Ka Shing Library
• Privileges include:
• Borrowing of books/materials
• Course Reserve materials are available upon request at the Library's Help Desk. Course Reserve materials are only available for a 2-hour maximum on-site loan. Photocopy machines are also available for your use.
• Databases can be accessed both on-site and off-site. List of databases can be viewed at this page. Your Library ID and Password had been forwarded to you with your Membership Kit.
• Other privileges can be viewed here: http://library.smu.edu.sg/services/alumni.asp.

You will need to use your SMUAA membership card to access the Library turnstiles.
Access will not be granted without a valid membership card.

Preferrential Rate Carpark Add-On ($60)

• All privileges listed under SMUAA Membership
• Preferred parking rates at SMU Carpark at Administration Building (only)

You will need to forward the below details to alumni@smu.edu.sg :
•  Car Model
•  Car License Plate Number
•  Car IU Number (a ten digit number printed underneath your IU's barcode)

Following your payment, receipt of photograph and the above details of your vehicle, please allow 5 working days for your application to be processed.
